On Sunday, April 30th, members of the NYS Poor People's Campaign will be arriving in Troy as part of a Freedom School Van Tour. We'll have several evening events, and you're invited to take part! We'll meet at Christ Church United Methodist (35 State St, Troy) about 4:30pm. 

5-6:30pm - Harriet Tubman/Charles Nalle Walking Tour - join members of the James Connolly Social Club as we walk through Troy to discuss the incredible story of that time Harriet Tubman just happened to be visiting Troy and broke a dude out of jail, TWICE. 

6:30-7:30pm - Back at the church, we'll have a meal together! 

7-??? - We'll make signs and banners for the May Day Poor People's State of the State delivery the next day - register for May Day here: bit.ly/MayDayPPSOS
