Race and the Economy Training Registration
The racial wealth gap grows larger each year despite advances in legislation, job access, and educational equity.  Why is that? This workshop will examine the historical roots of how the economy intersects with racism to create conditions that leave large portions of working people without direct access to the needed resources that would enable and secure economic prosperity for their families and their communities. In this highly interactive session, we will connect the past to the present and discuss ways in which we can organize together and hold necessary conversations to eradicate systemic racism.
