No - not planning on it
If "No", please say why:
Please provide a brief summary of your action (for example: We will hold a rally outside of Bank of America's Headquarters with faith leaders and families. Speakers will include leaders from local synagogues and churches, community groups, and people from frontline organizations discussing the impact of Bank of America's funding of fossil fuels).
*
How much money are you requesting? BIPOC/Frontline groups can request up to $1,500, all other groups can request up to $1,000
*
Please provide a brief summary of what you will spend the funds on. If you don't know exactly how much something will cost, take your best guess. Some examples: "We would like to buy 4 hazmat suits for action takers to wear as part of street theater; we anticipate this will cost $400" "We will hire a professional photographer for our action and have been quoted $750" "We would like to offer a stipend to frontline speakers of $250 each for 3 speakers" "We would like to purchase rapid tests and KN95s for our action takers, the estimated cost for 25 action takers is $350"

Is your group a BIPOC/Frontline group? Frontline communities are BIPOC and low income communities who have historically faced multiple systems of oppression including colonization, capitalism, racism and patriarchy. The effect of these systemic injustices and inequalities were historically first felt within these communities, and the effects on these communities have been disproportionately high. In terms of the climate crisis, frontline communities are hit first and worst by polluting infrastructure, extreme weather events, displacement, and other negative climate impacts. Frontline communities are generally the least responsible for the oppressive and often deadly results of these systems, including climate change, and yet they are the most impacted. These communities are also driving the frontlines of solutions. A BIPOC or frontline group is an group/organization that primarily organizes in BIPOC and/or frontline communities AND that is staffed or led by (if applicable) people living or working in BIPOC or frontline communities.
