School Board Strategies Interest Form
Public schools are places our communities connect around a common goal, a positive goal – educating our kids. Public schools are essential to our democracy. But our schools are under attack. We have all seen the recent surge of small groups of angry parents attacking our school boards around a seemingly endless list of grievances from masking, to so-called CRT in classrooms, to book bans. But the truth is long before COVID, decades of underfunding have left our schools short staffed and without the necessary resources to continue high quality public education for the next generation unless we act now. By organizing public school parents and supporters, we have the potential to create powerful, committed teams capable of shifting power locally and statewide starting with our school boards. Can you you help us turn this tide?
