In-Person Reading Group on Abortion Rights: Thursday June 23rd @ 7:00 PM, Without Apology
This is the sign up form to participate in the outdoor, in-person, one-off reading group that will discuss the short and free book Without Apology by Jenny Brown on Thursday June 23 at 7:00 pm on the back patio at Sonny's Pizza (3120 Georgia Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20010). Upon arrival, we will hold small group discussions that will touch on the book's contents and on the implications and strategy for DMV residents concerned about the criminalization of abortion in the US. You are encouraged to attend this event if you'd like focused discussion on abortion rights after the repeal of Roe v. Wade.

This event is hosted by Metro DC DSA but you do not have to be a member to attend -and no experience with reading groups is required beforehand. We will send you an electronic copy of the book and further details upon sign up; physical copies are available through Verso's website.

Please make sure to RSVP, so we have an accurate number of seats and groups at Sonny's! You do not have to spend money to attend or purchase anything at Sonny's, though all attendees will have the option to order at the 'truck' in the back of the patio. We hope you're able to read the book in advance and you will be expected to adhere to the Metro DC DSA's Code of Conduct during discussions.
