On Wednesday, February 15, we begin negotiations with Brown for the contract that determines our working conditions and pay. It's all on the table, and if we're going to win another fair raise, better benefits, and stronger protections, we need everyone out to our first session to show we won't settle for less than what we need.
Our first Bargaining Session will be Noon in the Kasper room of the Stephen Roberts Center at 75 Waterman!
Admin initially refused open bargaining, which allows grads to observe the negotiation process between Brown and GLO's bargaining teams. Now admin has agreed to hold bargaining in a room accessible to grads who want to observe. "Collective bargaining" means all of us: we're all going to be affected by this contract, so all of us have the right to be present and observe.
Join us beforehand at 11:15 on the Main Green to rally before bargaining. We need a strong showing: if you can only make 12:00, please fill out this form!
See you on the Main Green, we have a contract to win!
