My Vision
I want to serve as your 7F07 ANC commissioner to continue building and improving our community. As your commissioner, I will work to ensure that economic development projects, including Reservation 13, benefit all members of our community, work with city agencies to address issues of crime, traffic safety, and quality of life from a holistic lens, and make sure to amplify your voice.

My name is Dev Myers and I am running
for the ANC Commissioner seat for 7F07
When I moved to DC from Georgia to attend Howard University, I quickly discovered two things: community activism is my path, and DC is my home. Since then, I have looked for every opportunity to serve Ward 7 personally and professionally. Working as a teacher at KIPP DC and serving as a mentor through the Black Male Mentorship Program, I learned the needs of the young people in our community and the challenges our families face. I took that knowledge and helped lead efforts at East of the River Family Strengthening Collaborative to provide direct services and access to resources, first, as the Center Manager of the Benning Terrace and Benning Park Family Success Center then as Chief of Staff.
Through my work and demonstrated commitment to my community, I have become a trusted leader in Ward 7 and across DC, serving as the Recording Secretary for the DC Young Democrats, Treasurer for Ward 7 Education Council, a member of the Community Advisory Council, and Recording Secretary & Board Member of EmpowerED.
