Speak up today to keep wild and beautiful Lake Tarleton and the Appalachian Trail off of the chopping block.

Approval of the Tarleton Integrated Resource Project was slated for early 2022, but due to public outcry, implementation was delayed and the White Mountain National Forest is giving the public another opportunity to weigh in. This will likely be your final chance to submit an official comment.

Over the past  winter, the White Mountain National Forest received letters from more than 1,200 concerned citizens like you that 900 acres of proposed logging around spectacular Lake Tarleton violates the public's trust and the reasons why this landscape was protected from development twenty years ago with millions of taxpayer dollars and private donations.

Instead of listening to public concerns and proposing reasonable alternatives to damaging commercial logging, the White Mountain National Forest has released a proposal that threatens water quality, endangers wildlife, and risks destroying valuable archaeological resources.

Please take action today in defense of this iconic Granite State landscape!
