Vote YES on HB1393!

Dear Senator Baker,

House Bill 1393, was just passed unanimously by the House and referred to your committee. This life-saving legislation would allow for use of fentanyl testing strips and other forms of drug testing that can save lives and provide an opportunity for outreach to people suffering from substance use disorders.

Drug overdose is the leading cause of accidental death in Pennsylvania and we lost more than 5,000 Pennsylvanians to an overdose last year. Overdose deaths are at record levels across our state and nation.

I support House Bill 1393 and urge you to post this critically needed legislation for a vote in the Senate Judiciary Committee as soon as possible. Drug overdose deaths are preventable and House Bill 1393 will give our state another powerful tool for saving lives and reducing suffering among our families and communities.

Thank you for all you do to protect the health and safety of all Pennsylvanians!
