Two pieces of legislation currently being considered by the legislature's Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture (ENRA) could have important positive benefits for reducing atmospheric carbon and fighting climate change:

• H 912 - An Act Relative to Forest Protection
• H 1002 - An Act Relative to Increased Protection of Wildlife Management Areas
