Join NPEC for our fall Speakers' Training Series! The series is intended for active DSA organizers who would like to develop speaking skills, learn to argue in clear and compelling ways, help lead political education within their chapters or working groups, and to speak to an audience in any capacity.

The course will include four sessions covering how to structure a 10-15 minute presentation and concrete tips for good public speaking. Participants will work on a presentation during the course and then present it to a small group of peers. Each participant will receive a recording of themselves presenting along with feedback. Written materials from the course and slides templates will be provided.

The course will be held on four consecutive Tuesday evenings: October 18 and 25 and November 1 and 8, from 5-6pm PT/8-9pm ET. Because this training is intensive, participation as a presenter is by application only. Applications will be accepted until October 10 at this link: https://forms.gle/GpgXdFugxcWAEPQa6. If you are not accepted as a presenter for this session, or if you do not wish to give a presentation but are interested in learning tips for preparing and giving a presentation, you are welcome to join as an observer by RSVPing on Action Network. Please feel free to reach out to politicaleducation@dsacommittees.org with any questions. We look forward to receiving your application!
