Donate to BCAN to drive climate justice in Boston!

BCAN’s mission is to inspire and organize City of Boston residents and collaborate with allies to fight for climate justice policies in Boston and beyond. When we win climate victories here, that sets a precedent not only for all of New England, but also for large cities throughout the U.S. and world.

We use donations to pay our staff and interns, pay for materials and technology for events, maintain virtual tools like our website and social media, and more.

We can’t do it without your help!

You can donate directly to BCAN, or if you prefer to make a tax-deductible contribution, you can donate through our fiscal sponsor, Movement Sustainability Commons, a project of Resist and the Center for Economic Democracy. Please note that as of February 2022, we switched fiscal sponsorship organizations, so if you make a recurring donation (thank you!), you will need to enter your information again.

Checks may be mailed to:

BostonCAN
PO Box 300984
Boston, MA 02130

For tax-deductible donations, make your check payable to

“Resist” and write “BostonCAN” in the check memo.

If your company has a portal through Benevity, you can donate to us by selecting our fiscal sponsor, Resist, and identifying BCAN as a project of Resist.

Thank you in advance for your support!

About Fiscal Sponsorship with Movement Sustainability Commons:

A smaller non-profit like BCAN has the opportunity to enjoy the legal benefits of 501(c)3 status and organizational resources through fiscal sponsorship with another organization. The Movement Sustainability Commons, a Boston-based project of the Center for Economic Democracy and Resist, nourishes and sustains people and groups working for justice, economic democracy, and liberation. Aiming to build community and shift the paradigm away from the non-profit industrial complex and towards collective liberation and radical justice, they provide more than just fiscal resources. We are thrilled to be welcomed into this group of change-makers and exchange learning, organizational development, and more.
