Several groups will join forces in London tomorrow — but organisers insist route will not go near the Cenotaph

After four successive weekends of pro-Palestinian protests in the capital, the six groups co-ordinating the demonstrations have insisted that they will press on with their latest march, which will not pass near the Cenotaph, despite concerns about clashing with Armistice Day commemorations tomorrow.

The protests have caused outrage among Tory ministers and the Jewish community. Rishi Sunak has called on Sir Mark Rowley, the Met Police commissioner, to ban “provocative and disrespectful” pro-Palestinian marches sccheduled to take place in Hyde Park almost two hours after the country holds a two-minute silence to pay its respects to the armed forces.
