On Saturday, August 13th (time to be determined), the African American Redress Network will be hosting a virtual conference, Building a Coalition: Multiracial and Interfaith Allyship for African American Reparations. The aim of this conference is to build mutual understanding among diverse BIPOC communities to support local racial reparations initiatives for African Americans across the country.
The African American Redress Network (AARN) is a collaboration between Columbia University's Institute for the Study of Human Rights and Howard University's Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Center. AARN's work centers on historic racial injustices against African Americans. We support local redress and reparation efforts through research, capacity-building, advocacy, and education.
