Yesterday I attended a “campaign kickoff” event featuring two powerful Democratic women: Rep. Chellie Pingree and Gov. Janet Mills. Pingree shared with the crowd that the work the Mills administration and the Legislature have done over the last four years to address climate change has positioned the state to be able to maximize the impact of the Inflation Reduction Act’s monies targeting climate change that will flow to the state.

Maine is emerging as a climate leader, and a great deal of the credit goes to Mills for this reality.  We all win! Let’s not turn back the clock by electing a climate change minimizer.
