AMP Global Youth was founded by students eager to take action around global issues. Through training programs and campaigns, we amplify the voice and power of global youth. Our programs are growing quickly, and we’re seeking Marketing and Outreach Fellows to help take us to the next level.

The Marketing & Outreach Fellow plays a key role in helping draft and execute our marketing strategy, in particular focusing on our Global Scholar programs. Tasks will include: identifying and engaging key audiences and prospects; crafting and developing engaging content for social media and email; supporting time-bound campaigns around AMP special projects; supporting the evolution of our brand identity; and more.

The Marketing & Outreach Fellow will play an essential hands-on role in the next phase of our growth, helping grow our brand and programs. This is a great position for a student or AMP alumni, and as such extensive professional experience is definitely not required. We will help teach you what you need to know, and work as a team to complete assignments.

This is a 4 hour/week position, with fixed hours on Sunday afternoon / evening ET. Fellows will work as part of a small team.

Specific activities will include:

  • Supporting our Marketing Strategy. This includes reviewing current tactics; proposing new avenues for engaging students, teachers and parents; and helping monitor and evaluate our work.
  • Content Creation. We create all of the content we use to promote our programs, in particular graphics and videos. Depending on your skill set, the Fellow will help us create and maintain compelling social content to tell the story of our work, and inspire others to join us.
  • Engaging key audiences and partners. The Fellow will help us build relationships with students and schools, as well as applicants for our programs.

What You’ll Bring:

AMP Fellows are confident communicators; enthusiastic about leadership development, social change, and advocacy; passionate about global issues facing our generation; and dedicated to collaboration with fellow team-members. The successful applicant has some proven experience with messaging, content creation, and/or outreach. Hard skills around graphic design or video development aren’t required, but you should have a strong eye for messaging and approaches that work with youth. We are a virtual organization, so Fellows must be self-starters and reliable too.

Details and How to Apply:

All team members receive ongoing training and support. We are a hands-on network: team members build real, marketable skills! They also benefit from working with an inspired community of young global leaders committed to securing youth engagement around global challenges.

This is a 4 hour/week position, starting in January 223. Candidates should be comfortable working in English, on Eastern Standard Time, and have reliable technology and internet to complete their work. Fellows must be available to work on Sunday afternoons, ET.  AMP Fellows are paid a monthly stipend of $160.
