The collective bargaining contract for city workers expired in May 2021, and the last time these public servants received a pay increase was in 2019– long before hundreds of municipal workers lost their lives to COVID-19 while showing up to make New York City run. Our members have gone far too long without a raise. We need your help to support our members and send the message that city workers need a new contract NOW!
We’re gearing up for a virtual, citywide Day of Action on Thursday, Feb. 16. While the DC 37 Bargaining Committee meets with the city’s Office of Labor Relations at the bargaining table on Thursday, we’re asking the community to rally around our members and support the push for a new contract and hard-earned raise.
