MISSION
VISION
Latino Victory’s vision is marked by a substantial increase in progressive Latino elected officials, Latino voter participation, and Latino political donations, making Latino voters a deciding factor in elections up and down the ballot throughout the country. Record Latino voter turnout will have profound consequences on redistricting with political boundaries drawn with Latino influence, from school board to congressional districts.
The result: Latino values are reflected in the policies that drive our country forward. The United States is a land of opportunity, where immigrants come out of the shadows and are equal participants in our economy. Democracy works for everyone because voting rights are protected.
Our air and water are cleaner and safer. People are healthier and better off because they have access to health care and high-quality education. And the government plays an important, supportive role in the lives of the citizens it serves.
FOUNDED 2014
Latino Victory was co-founded by Eva Longoria Bastón and Henry R. Muñoz III in 2014 to build political power within the Latino community so that the voices of Latinos are reflected at every level of government and in the policies that drive our nation forward.
REPRESENTATION
At its founding and presently, Latino Victory fills a critical void in the Latino and civic engagement infrastructure. At the time of the organization’s founding, it was the only national vehicle targeting Latino voters and building a candidate and donor pipeline to build Latino political power.
LEADING THE FIGHT
We are leading the fight to protect our community by electing progressive Latino champions at all levels of government.
Latino Victory is dedicated to making sure Latino voices are heard by empowering Latino voters, developing a Latino donor pipeline, and developing the Latino candidate bench through three entities: Latino Victory Fund, Latino Victory Project, and Latino Victory Foundation.
Latino Victory fund
Latino Victory Fund (PAC), our political arm, supports progressive candidates who support Latino values. Latinos make up 18% of the population, but only one percent of all elected officials. Latino Victory Fund aims to increase the number of Latino candidates and elected officials in government by supporting progressive Latino candidates in local, state and federal elections.
Latino Victory Project
Latino Victory Project, a 501(c)(4), develops leaders for public office and works to harness the Latino community’s power so that the voices of Latinos are included in the policies that move our country forward. Latino Victory Project engages Latino voters
to support leaders that reflect and advance Latino values, which are American values, including good-paying jobs, immigration reform, quality education, a clean environment, amongst other key issues.
Latino Victory foundation
The Latino Victory Foundation, a 501(c)(3), engages in research, non-partisan civic engagement, strategic communications and leadership development. It accepts tax-deductible contributions. This is a non-partisan effort to raise awareness about Latinos’ contributions to the United States and build greater understanding between Latinos and other communities. The foundation seeks to strengthen the country through conversation and uplift the values of inclusion and civic engagement.
