4/20/2012 House This Bill together with four line-item vetoes, three disapproving dollar amounts to Section A-17 and one disapproving dollar amount to Section AAA-3 was returned by the Governor without his signature, after adjournment on Saturday, April 14, 2012, pursuant to his authority under the Maine Constitution Article IV, Part Third, Section 2-A.
The Legislature, having adjourned on Saturday, April 14, 2012 until Tuesday, May 15, 2012, did not reconvene to act upon these four items within five days as directed by House Rule 521, and accordingly, the line-item vetoes were not overridden and the bill with the four line-item vetoes was returned to the Governor.
