We now have 80 days from today to have both of our budgets done to avoid a state government shutdown.
9 bills are still being unconstitutionally withheld by the House Speaker Matt Hall.
$129 Million in taxpayer money and more, is currently being held up from being utilized or sent to local communities for the remainder of the year.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to join my colleague Rep. Joseph Pavlov from the 64th House District in Port Huron, along with other legislators.
I toured the Lakes Pilots Association and joined Captain Tony Brandano on a pilot boat through St. Clair River to Lake Huron, then under the Blue Water Bridge. Going through the narrow channel made me realize just how close Canada is to our border. Watch
