City College 2.0: Stable Growth for a Stronger College & a Better San Francisco
First responders of every type–Nurses, Firefighters, EMTs–and essential workers for the future of our city–Construction Managers, Teachers, Computer Scientists–are trained at City College.

City College is the largest and most accessible source of higher education degrees and workforce training in San Francisco. We are a majority student of color pillar of San Francisco, and now is the moment for us to focus on stable growth for the good of our college and our city.

The end of Hold Harmless in 2025 and the thousands of students turned away from classes over the past two years are a wake up call–City College will soon be funded based on the number and success of our students, and that means the time for serious change is now.

For our college's long term fiscal health and the good of the communities we serve, AFT 2121 is launching an enrollment campaign. From improving our registration system to investing in under-resourced departments, AFT 2121 will work with students, community members, and our administration to stabilize and grow our college for the good of our members and our city.
