Working Families Caucus: Lunch & Learn re: the Legislative State Budget (RSVP)
YOU ARE INVITED to the Working Families Caucus' Lunch & Learn event on Saturday, April 13th, from 10am-12pm, at Church of the Crossroads (1212 University Avenue Suite 100, Honolulu, HI 96826).

Our focus will be on demystifying the budgeting process of the Hawai'i State Legislature, with an eye towards a care-centered economy and worker-centered priorities. Experts (Kalbert Young of UH & Devin Thomas of the Hawaiʻi Budget & Policy Center) will be presenting an overview on the state budget in the context of bills moving through the legislative process, and helping us understand how to compare different budget proposals. This will be followed by discussions focusing on various policy concerns. Representatives Kapela, Perruso, and Belatti will be in attendance to help guide the conversations and answer questions.

As this is an in-person event only, attendees are encouraged to wear a well-fitting high-quality mask while inside and not eating; these will be provided to those who would like them.
