RVA YIMBY needs you to let the Richmond City Council know that its time to approve much-needed housing at 1401-1407 Hull St! There are two ways you can take action to make this housing project a reality:

1. Take 2 minutes right now to sign our petition in support of the project.
2. Come to City Council meeting on March 25th and speak your truth about the need for housing abundance in Richmond!

After the ordinance item has been considered we will regroup for a drink downtown if desired!

A little more information about the project—Ord. 2024-020 will authorize the special use (SUP) of the property at 1401-1407 Hull St. for a mixed-use building of 60 units. This project needs an SUP as it does not meet a side-setback requirement  to an adjacent property zoned to a residential district. For a premier site right in Manchester's transit-oriented central business district, this represents a fault of the current zoning regime as implemented.

We have varying and rich reasons to support this development—let's get together and let the City Council know that they have dragged their feet long enough. It's time to legalize housing now!
